A little about us

Since 1986, our company has been bringing fresh and frozen seafood to the Midwest. The passion for life and good food, took us more than a third of a century ago to one of the most incredible places on the planet, “Alaska”, the perfect place to love life and develop one of our great passions, seafood.

We found so many kinds of marine animals that we were a little more surprised every day. We were fascinated by the greatness of nature in this place that without a doubt exceeded our expectations.

After months at sea at really low temperatures, facing difficult climates enjoying this hobby that we were passionate about, we returned to Iowa, in the heart of our country, to start with what after hard work, effort and dedication Landlocked Seafood Inc.

Has been developed into one of the largest seafood distributors in the Midwest over the years, supplying supermarkets, shops and restaurants day after day. We are proud of this company that grows every day, although our mission is to reach more and more places, so that everyone knows the immense variety of seafood at their own table.

Landlocked Seafood’s history is more than just the stores we’ve helped to build, the partnerships we’ve made and the customers we’ve served. so much of our history is in the details.
